They’re often used for determining manufacturing tolerances and detecting minute expansions and contractions. When an object pushes into the plunger actuator, it sends a signal to open or close a circuit. Install them in a standard panel cutout.
IP67 Enclosure Rating—IP67 rated switches are protected from temporary submersion. They’re ideal for wet locations.
