UL E78403 Switches | McMaster-Carr

Immediately cut power with a single push. These switches are rated for protection from low-pressure streams of water and oil/coolant spraying. They have positive force contacts that will open a circuit when actuated even if a spring fails or the contacts stick. Mount them in a standard panel cutout.

Illuminated switches are visible in low light. They include a bulb. If wiring the switch and the bulb to the same circuit, the circuit voltage must not exceed bulb voltage.

Turn twist switches back on by twisting the button and pull switches by pulling it. Add an optional lockout (sold separately) on either kind to cover the button and prevent changes to its position.

Additional contact blocks (sold separately) can be added to control more circuits or replace the included contact blocks.

Aluminum Enclosed Push-Button Switches

A lightweight yet durable alternative to stainless steel enclosed switches, these aluminum enclosed switches withstand corrosion, oil, and washdowns. They can mount directly to a wall when there’s not enough room in an electrical panel. The enclosure has knockouts so you can easily connect it to conduit fittings and cord grips.

Joystick Switches

Intuitively steer and position cranes, robot arms, and other machinery that moves in multiple directions—your equipment will follow the movements you make with these joysticks. They control multiple circuits as you move them in different directions and patterns. Assemble a complete switch with an actuator and at least one contact block (sold separately). All actuators include a mounting clip that can fit up to two contact blocks. They’re NEMA and IP rated for protection from dust, washdowns, and oil/coolant spraying.

Two-position actuators require one to four contact blocks. Four-position actuators require two to four contact blocks. They are off in the center position.

Momentary actuators can only be locked in the off position. Maintained actuators can be locked in any position.

Chrome-plated steel actuators resist wear better than rubber actuators.
