    Luer Slip Fitting

    Connection, Clear

Made of plastic, these syringes are shatter resistant and suitable for use with a variety of liquids. However, they’re not as scratch resistant as glass or stainless steel syringes and less precise than glass ones.
Luer Lock Fitting Connection—Syringes with a luer lock connection have a more secure needle connection than syringes with a luer slip connection. They connect to needles with a luer lock connection to dispense contents. Twist the needle into place to secure the hold.
Luer Slip Fitting Connection—Syringes with a luer slip connection connect to needles with a luer lock connection simply by sliding the needle onto the fitting—it will be held in place by friction rather than a locking mechanism.

No need to connect a needle or tip—just trim the opening size of these syringes to the diameter you need. Widen the opening of the tip for increased flow when dispensing thick liquids.

    Amber Barrel

Each pull of the trigger releases a set amount of liquid, making these guns useful for repeated dispensing applications. They have plastic barrels, which are durable and can be used with a variety of liquids. Attach a needle with a luer lock connection and twist it to secure.
Amber Barrel—Guns with an amber barrel protect light-sensitive materials from UV rays, so they won’t cure before being dispensed. They’re semi-clear, so you can check the fluid level in the barrel.
Nylon Trigger and Polypropylene Trigger—Guns with a nylon or polypropylene trigger are lighter in weight than those with a metal trigger.
Aluminum Trigger and Zinc Alloy Trigger—Guns with an aluminum or zinc trigger are more durable than those with a plastic trigger, which extends the life of these guns.
Polycarbonate Barrel—A polycarbonate barrel is more durable than polypropylene or polyester barrels. It has high impact resistance, so it won’t break if these guns are dropped.

    Glass Syringes

Made to a tighter tolerance than plastic syringes, these glass syringes are better at dispensing small, precise samples with little left over. They’re also durable and resistant to chemicals, so they’re unlikely to wear or warp from your samples, so they'll have a long, reliable life. Their precision makes them great for gas chromatography.
For quick and easy needle connections, choose between luer lock and luer slip syringes.
When precision is a top concern, choose between a threaded connection and a fixed needle. They’re both designed for the needle to sit exactly at the zero graduation mark, which minimizes leftover material in the barrel after dispensing.

    Syringe

Syringes with a luer lock connection secure onto a luer lock needle with a twist. They have a stronger connection than luer slip syringes.
Syringes with PTFE Piston—Syringes with a piston are ideal for use with gases because the piston creates a leak-free, gastight seal against the barrel. They’re also great for liquids that don’t fully mix—the piston’s seal wipes off any deposits from liquids. With no deposits, the plunger won’t get stuck while dispensing. The piston’s seal is also tight enough that the plunger won’t retract on its own, so you can dispense from these syringes in a slow, controlled manner.

    Stainless Steel Syringes

Dispense corrosive liquids with these syringes. They're made of stainless steel, so they're not only highly chemical resistant but also extremely durable—they're our longest-lasting syringes. Because they're so durable, you can use them at high pressures. When used at or below their maximum pressure, they’re leak-free. However, you can't see what's inside like you can with glass and plastic syringes, so it's hard to confirm how much is inside and check for air bubbles.
Before autoclaving these syringes, disassemble them. Keep in mind that autoclaving can reduce their lifespan, so chemical sterilization is preferred.
Luer Lock Fitting Connection—Syringes with a luer lock connection require a luer lock needle to dispense contents. Twist the needle in place for a secure hold.
Connects to Tube—Syringes with a tube connection can be inserted to the mouth of a tube. They’re good for drawing liquid or gas out of a tube.

V-shape reservoirs have a single large reservoir on one side and 8- and 12-chamber reservoirs on the other. Useful for multi-channel pipettors, the smaller chambers reduce the risk of waste. They’re often used to hold different reagents or ratios and for serial dilutions. Made of polypropylene, they can be autoclaved for reuse.

    Gas Sampling Glass Syringes

Image of Product. Front orientation. Syringes. Gas Sampling Glass Syringes.
Collect, transport, and store gas and liquid samples without worrying about evaporation or leaks. These syringes have a locking valve that keeps your sample secure. They also have a piston that creates a leak-free, gastight seal against the barrel.
With a glass barrel, these syringes have a long lifespan and aren’t likely to wear or warp from your samples. They have a tighter tolerance than syringes with plastic barrels, so they’re better at controlling small, precise flows. They’ll dispense all material inside with nothing left over—the needle sits exactly at the zero graduation mark, and the piston’s seal against the barrel wipes off any deposits from liquids. With no deposits, the plunger won’t get stuck while dispensing. The piston’s seal is also tight enough that the plunger won’t retract on its own, so you can dispense from these syringes in a slow, controlled manner. Thanks to their precision, these syringes are often used for gas chromatography.
To attach the needle, slide it in at the base of these syringes and secure it with its locking nut. Made of stainless steel, the needle has a smooth surface that limits friction. It’s also sharp and beveled so it can be inserted without clogging or leaving a hole. This makes it ideal for puncturing septa lids.

    Sterile Reagent Reservoirs

Image of Product. Front orientation. Reagent Reservoirs. Sterile Reagent Reservoirs.
To make sure these reservoirs arrive sterile, they've been irradiated, individually bagged, and marked with a lot number. Use them to hold reagents and samples for easy access during pipetting. A V-shaped bottom helps you collect samples as your liquid starts to run low. All have molded graduation marks, so you can gauge how much liquid is inside. There’s a pour spout on each corner for discarding excess liquid. These reservoirs cannot be autoclaved or reused.
