The assorted keys in these sets have a small handle that prevents you from generating too much torque when turning a fastener. They are often used to install carbide inserts in cutting tools.
T-Handle—These keys have a wider handle than L-keys, so they're easier to grip.
Black-Oxide Steel—The coating offers minimal corrosion resistance, so these keys are best for dry environments.
Black Phosphate-Coated Steel—These keys resist rust in most wet and outdoor applications, however, they won't hold up to salt water and chemicals.

When you've only got one free hand to fasten, reach for these keys. A retaining ring on the tip grips screws securely so they won't fall off as you tighten. Use these sets when working above crevices or when fastening tiny screws, such as those on carbide inserts. The small handle stops you from generating too much torque when turning a fastener.
