T-Slotted Framing Rails
Use this versatile framing to configure machine guards, enclosures, carts, and workstations. These rails have continuous T-slots for attaching fittings. When choosing how many slots you want on your rail, consider how much flexibility you need for your setup and how finished you'd like your structure to appear. The more slots the rail has, the more design flexibility you will have. Keep in mind, open slots can collect dust and debris. Rails with closed sides give you a finished appearance but are more difficult to reconfigure or add components to later. All of these rails are made of aluminum.
Low-profile rails are half the width of double rails. They’re often used to attach handles, sensors, and other accessories.
Solid rails are stronger than hollow rails. Smooth rails give a finished look. With no indentations to collect dust, they’re easier to clean than grooved rails. However, dents and marks are easier to see.
Black rails fade into the background and hide dirt and grime. They're good for vision systems where non-reflective material is needed. Cut-to-length rails can be ordered in increments of 0.125” or 0.25 cm.

To order: Please specify length in increments of 0.125” within the range listed.

T-Slotted Framing Fasteners
Screw and nut sets or nuts secure brackets and other accessories to rails.
End-feed fasteners slide into the end of the rail to attach components. They form stronger connections than drop-in fasteners because more surface area touches the rail.
Drop-in fasteners fit directly into the T-slot to attach components—no need to disassemble your existing structure. However, they form less secure connections than end-feed fasteners because less surface area touches the rail.

Nuts with threadlocker have an adhesive on the threads that prevents loosening due to vibration.
Self-aligning nuts have a ridge that keeps them centered in the T-slot.
Use double and triple nuts to install brackets with multiple holes. They eliminate the need for a single nut and screw for each hole.
Offset nuts have a mounting hole close to one end, so you can install them next to corners and rail ends.
Stainless steel is stronger than plastic and more corrosion resistant than steel. It withstands salt water and chemicals.

Button head screws are more compact, so they're better for tight spaces than other screws for T-slotted framing.
Flanged button head screws have a wider head than standard button head fasteners, so you don’t need a washer for wide mounting holes.

Set screw nuts can be tightened in place, so they won’t budge, even on vertical rails, until you unscrew them.
Static-control nuts have serrations that pierce the anodized coating of the rail, which dissipates static charges to protect sensitive electronic equipment.
Nuts with a handle are easy to grip and drop in place. The flexible rubber handle bends to fit underneath objects mounted to the rail.
Hammer nuts drop in to the slot and turn into place when the screw is tightened.

T-Slotted Framing Structural Brackets
Connect T-slotted rails and reinforce joints for structural stability. Fasteners are included.

Corner brackets are also known as angle brackets.
Extended brackets have more connection points for stronger connections than standard-length brackets.
Slotted corner brackets have elongated mounting holes for increased adjustability.
Gusset brackets are reinforced to limit sway for more structural stability than standard corner brackets. Open gusset brackets give you easy access to the fasteners, which is useful if your application requires frequent adjustments. Closed gusset brackets include a cover for a finished appearance and better dust protection than open gusset brackets.

Surface brackets create strong connection points because they secure to the surface of rails.
Straight brackets are simple brackets that can be used to make 90°, end-to-end, and parallel connections.
Extended brackets have more connection points for stronger connections than standard-length brackets.
90° angle brackets make a corner or create another 90° connection along your rail.
Flush tee and flush 90° angle brackets create a finished appearance. However, they are not as strong as standard tee or 90° angle brackets.

Anchor concealed brackets allow positioning anywhere along the mating rail’s T-slot. Drill an installation hole in the face of one rail to install. Since the fastener is machined into the rail profile, these brackets create stronger connections than other brackets that don’t require machining. You can also use these brackets with our rails with machined bore holes.

T-Slotted Framing Slides, Tracks, and Rollers
Slide drawers, panels, and doors with these tracks and rollers.

Rail slides allow one rail to slide along another. Made from a single piece of plastic, they can be cut to size for a variety of applications. Adjust their positioning without fasteners. While simple to install, they are less secure than heavy duty rail slides.
Rail slides with a T-shaped side install on either the top or bottom rail. They slide into the end of the slot and won’t fall out, so you can use them to hang something.
Rail slides with a flat side attach to a component with fasteners. You can place heavy components on top without using fasteners.

Pivoting rail slides can rotate rails 360° even while sliding along the other T-slotted rail. They are often used to make an accordion or bifold door.
To install perpendicular slides, tap a hole in the end of the rail and screw in the slide.
Rail slides with a straight side drop into T-slotted rail to guide the sliding rail. They don’t require access to the end of the rail to install, but they can’t be used to hang something on their own because they will fall out of the slot.
