    Tamper and Vibration Detection Paint

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Tamper-Evident Paint. Tamper and Vibration Detection Paint.
Easily detect vibration or tampering—this paint becomes brittle once dried and cracks from movement. Originally used in the aerospace industry, this paint won’t corrode and adheres to most surfaces, including all types of metal. It’s useful on screws, nuts, and bolts in assemblies with high vibration, such as gearboxes or conveyor lines. Or use it to check for vibration between mated parts, such as pipe fittings and pipe, by applying it directly to both parts.
To speed up drying and curing time, blow hot air on the paint or place the item you’re painting in a warm environment.
Fluorescent—Fluorescent paint is also visible in dark environments and under UV lights. UV lighting makes small cracks easier to spot.
10 day Time to Cure—Paint that cures in 10 days will achieve 80% of its cure within the first 48 to 72 hours.
Cannot Be Sold To—Paint cannot be sold to the listed areas because it exceeds local regulatory limits on VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
