Lights rated IP20 are for indoor use only. Lights rated IP67 are sealed to protect against dust and temporary submersion, so they can be used outdoors and in dirty, wet areas.

White tape lights come in several different light appearances to suit your environment or match existing lighting. Lights with a warm appearance have a soft, yellow tone that is similar to an incandescent bulb. Lights with a neutral appearance balance blue and yellow tones for a bright, natural look. They’re often used in offices. Lights with a cool appearance have white and blue tones that reduce eyestrain during detail-oriented tasks, such as inspecting. Dim-to-warm lights get warmer as they dim to mimic incandescent lights. Use the switch included with Color Temperature Selectable tape lights to choose between 5 options.

Any-color lights connect to an app on your phone, so you can set them to any color or to any temperature of white light. They’re also known as RGB+WW lights.

Drivers provide a constant voltage to your tape lights, protecting the LEDs from power fluctuations. Built-in thermal protection helps extend the lifespan of these drivers, and they’re housed in a UL-listed enclosure suitable for wet locations. To install, feed the power source and tape light wire leads through the knockouts. Seal the entry points using a 1/2 trade size conduit fitting or cord grip. Inside the enclosure, connect the wire leads using the included lever connectors. Do not exceed the recommended tape length; to power longer lights, add another driver.

Channels have a frosted lens that reduces the glare from tape lights and gives them a finished look. All come with brackets and mounting fasteners for easy installation. Angled channels mount into corners and direct light at a 45° angle. They’re often used to illuminate counters, shelves, and stairs. High channels have the most space between the LEDs and the lens, so they reduce glare the most. Wide channels diffuse light over a wider area than other channels to eliminate shadows. Low channels are short and narrow, so you can squeeze them into the tightest spots.
