    Diameter-Measuring Tape Measures

    Wrap around duct, pipe, and other cylindrical objects to find their diameter without complex calculations. These tape measures are ideal for already mounted objects since you don't need to take your system apart. Also known as tree tapes.

    Take math out of the equation completely. After wrapping the blade around an object, find the number that overlaps with zero—that's your diameter.
    Manual Blade Return—Guide the blade back by hand or using the wheel on the side of the case.
    Nonlocking Blade Lock—Pull the blade out and hold it in place between your fingers. These free-moving tape measures are best for taking frequent, small measurements.
    Coated Steel Blade—A coating on the blade prevents the graduations from wearing or scratching off.
