Target-Size Plug Gauge Sets

Get your choice of one target-size gauge with 12 larger gauges and 12 smaller gauges, graduated in 0.0001”. Use these sets to measure hole sizes and depths, check hole locations and distance, and set micrometers. Also known as tenth-step gauges, they’re often used in metrology labs, quality control departments, and tool rooms for setting snap gauges and comparators.

The most accurate type of gauge we sell, these sets are rated Class X. The class is based on ASME standard B89.1.5, which states their diameter won’t vary more than 0.00004”. This ensures accurate measurements when checking finished parts. Each set includes a manufacturer's certificate of accuracy to certify the diameters are within tolerance.

All sets come in a case to keep them organized and protected.

If a go gauge can enter the hole and a no-go gauge is unable to enter, the hole is within tolerance.

Go Gauges—Go gauges check the minimum hole diameter.

No-Go Gauges—No-go gauges check the maximum hole diameter.

Tool Steel—Made of tool steel, these gauges are strong and hard, so they won’t wear down easily.
