About Quick-Disconnect Terminals
Quick-disconnect terminals provide fast and secure connections for your wiring. Because they are easy to connect and disconnect, these terminals are convenient for applications that require frequent repair or replacement. When an application calls for a 1/4" quick-disconnect, choose a terminal with a 0.250" tab width.
Noninsulated Ring Terminals
Mount these terminals on a threaded screw or stud for a more secure connection than spade and hook terminals. They are noninsulated, so you can easily inspect the wire connection. Use a crimper (not included) to install wire.

Noninsulated Open-Barrel Ring Terminals
For easy crimping, lay wire into the open barrel instead of threading it through a closed barrel. These ring terminals mount on a threaded screw or stud for a more secure connection than spade and hook terminals. Because they are noninsulated, you can easily inspect the wire connection. Use a crimper (not included) to install wire.

90° flag terminals connect to wire at a right angle, so they fit in tight spaces.
Double-crimp terminals have a long barrel that can be crimped to wire insulation for strain relief and an extra-tight grip in high-vibration applications.

Insulated Spade Terminals
A plastic cover on the barrel of these terminals provides electrical insulation to prevent short-circuiting with nearby wire. Loosen your mounting screw to install—the open end eliminates the need to completely remove it. Use a crimper (not included) to install wire.
Flanged terminals have turned-up tips to keep the terminal secure, even if the screw loosens, so they’re a good choice for vertical applications.
Nylon-insulated terminals are more durable and resist chemicals better than vinyl-insulated terminals.
