Quick-Disconnect Terminals

A good choice for machinery that needs to be frequently disconnected and reconnected for adjustment and repair. These terminals pair with other quick-disconnect terminals, so you can pop them apart whenever you need to break a connection. Attach your wire with a crimping tool to avoid a damaged barrel and loose connection.

90° Flag—Attach wire from the side when there's no room behind the terminal. The mounting tab meets the barrel at 90°, like a flag on a flagpole.

Noninsulated—The basic, economical option when short circuits from nearby wiring aren't a concern.

Single Crimp—Provides a secure enough grip for most jobs.

Double Crimp—The choice for wire that’s frequently pulled, bent, or vibrated. Crimp the extended barrel in two places for an extra-strong grip on the wire.

Ring Terminals

Noninsulated

Secure wire to screw connections without worrying it will pop off. A go-to for terminal blocks, batteries, and circuit breaker panels, ring terminals encircle the whole screw shank, so they stay put better than spade and hook terminals when vibrated or pulled. Spade Terminals

Noninsulated

Save time when installing lots of terminals at once or adjusting a connection. Unlike ring terminals, spade terminals don't require you to remove the screw from the terminal block or other connection point. Just loosen the screw slightly, slide the terminal under the screw head, and tighten. Since ring and hook terminals hold a bit more securely, spade terminals work best when vibration and yanked wires aren't a concern. Attach your wire with a crimping tool to avoid a damaged barrel and loose connection.

Snap-Plug Terminals

With a round tab rather than a flat one, these are a space-saving alternative to quick-disconnect terminals. They slide into other snap-plug terminals, then pop apart so you can break a connection on the fly for quick maintenance or adjustments to your circuit. Flanged Spade Terminals

These terminals resist slipping and falling from control panels and other vertical surfaces. Even if the connection loosens, the flanges hang onto the screw head to maintain the connection.

Heat-Shrink Spade Terminals

Speed up installation without sacrificing protection for your wire. The spade slides right under the screw head while the heat-shrink plastic shields the wire from cuts, moisture, and dust to prevent short circuits and weakened connections. The seal also distributes strain evenly when the wire is bent or under tension, preventing the wire from fraying. When attaching your wire, use a crimping tool to avoid a damaged barrel and loose connection. Then apply heat to seal the plastic onto the wire from all sides.

Plastic-Blend Insulation—Plastic covers the metal barrel to protect the wire from cuts, contamination, and short circuits. These terminals shrink at lower temperatures than polyolefin terminals, so they’re a good choice for thin or fine wire gauges that are sensitive to extreme heat.

Easy-Insert Ring Terminals for Automated Crimpers


	Reel

Crimp wire into dozens or even hundreds of terminals in a fraction of the normal time. These terminals come attached to a reel that feeds into an automated crimper (not included) for large-volume electrical installations. They also have an open barrel, so you can lay your wire into place instead of threading and poking into a closed barrel.

Twist-Resistant Block Spade Terminals
