About Quick-Disconnect Terminals

Quick-disconnect terminals provide fast and secure connections for your wiring. Because they are easy to connect and disconnect, these terminals are convenient for applications that require frequent repair or replacement. When an application calls for a 1/4" quick-disconnect, choose a terminal with a 0.250" tab width.
Insulated Quick-Disconnect Terminals

A plastic cover on the barrel provides electrical insulation to prevent short-circuiting with nearby wire. Convenient for applications that require frequent connections, these terminals slide together and pull apart with ease. Use a crimper (not included) to install wire.

Insulated Snap-Plug Terminals

The connection on these terminals is completely covered with insulation when mated, leaving no metal exposed and preventing short-circuiting with nearby wire. Also known as bullet terminals, these have a round tab that requires less space than the flat tab found on most quick-disconnect terminals. Use a crimper (not included) to install wire.
