Masking Tape for Electronics

Protect sensitive components and insulate electrical current in high-heat jobs, such as masking circuit boards during soldering. Made of polyimide, it's thin but strong enough to resist tearing when removed, even after heat exposure and extreme temperature swings.

Silicone Adhesive—Withstands highest heat out of all masking tape adhesives and maintains flexibility in extreme temperatures.

Acrylic Plastic Adhesive—For when silicone contamination is a concern, such as on electrical contact points or surfaces to which you will apply other paint or adhesives.

Overall Thickness—Thicker tape is more durable but less conformable than thinner tape.

Adhesive-Back Thermocouple Probes for Surfaces

Simply peel off the adhesive backing on these probes and press them onto a surface to measure its temperature. Without bulky mounting hardware, the thin sensor can slide into crammed spots. You can connect them to controllers, thermometers, and other temperature reading devices to view and store measurements. Pick the thermocouple type that best covers the temperature range you expect your surface to be. Make sure the thermocouple type you choose is compatible with the device you plan to connect it to.

These thermocouples are manufactured to conform to ASTM E230 for accuracy. Accuracy is how far off the reported value is from the actual temperature.

Note: When installing probes with wire leads, the red wire is negative.
