    Thermoelectric Modules

Image of Product. Front orientation. Thermoelectric Modules.
Cool down enclosures, laser and optical equipment, and other small devices to maintain their ideal temperature. An electrical current transfers heat from one side of these modules—also known as Peltier modules—to the other. This means the side closest to your equipment stays cold.
Unlike fans and other coolers, these modules don’t have moving parts that require maintenance. They also don’t rely on moving air for cooling, so you can use them in sealed areas, like refrigerators. Compact, they fit in crowded enclosures and other tight spaces. Their flat sides mean you can attach an adhesive-mount heat sink to draw excess heat away from them.
To control these modules, connect their wire leads to a power source and thermostat or switch. You can even alter them for use in heating applications—just reverse the polarity of the DC voltage to switch their hot and cold sides.
Maximum Power Transferred (Qmax) @ Temperature—Qmax describes the maximum thermal energy these modules can transfer.
Maximum Temperature Drop (ΔTmax) @ Heat Sink Temperature—Delta Tmax refers to the maximum temperature difference between the hot and cold sides. Change the input voltage to adjust this difference in temperature.
