Hammer corrosion-resistant threads into pine, spruce, and other softwoods—these inserts have six prongs around the barrel for a strong hold that prevents them from twisting and loosening. Made from 18-8 stainless steel, they resist corrosion from mild chemicals and water better than zinc-plated steel inserts. Install them into a drilled hole to add strong, reusable threads.
