T-Bolts

Also known as tank-strap bolts, these T-bolts are commonly used with a band clamp or a strap to hold fuel tanks and other objects in place. The large T-shaped head provides a secure grip for steady tightening. Length is measured from the top of the head.
Match the thread spacing of mating components. Coarse threads are the industry standard; choose these screws if you don’t know the threads per inch. Fine threads are closely spaced to prevent loosening from vibration.
Steel T-bolts without a finish are ready to be painted or finished.
Black-oxide steel T-bolts are mildly corrosion resistant in dry environments.
Zinc-plated steel T-bolts resist corrosion in wet environments.

T-Bolts with Collar

Also known as clamping pins, these bolts have a collar that slides along the shaft and can be welded in place to hold work and prevent over torquing. The large T-shaped head provides a secure grip for steady tightening. The black-oxide finish provides corrosion resistance in dry environments. Length is measured from the top of the head.

Acme Lead Screws and Nuts

Found in hand-powered clamps, vises, grates, doors, and work tables, lead screws and nuts have broad, square threads that are well suited for quick assembly, high clamping forces, and lifting and lowering heavy objects. To ensure compatibility, please select components that have the same thread direction, thread size, and number of thread starts.
Carbon steel components are easier to machine than alloy steel components.
Travel distance per turn, also known as screw lead, is the distance a nut or handle moves with one revolution of the lead screw.
For technical drawings and 3-D models, click on a part number.

Hex head screws fasten heavy loads. They’re generally shorter than lead screws and can be tightened with a wrench. Length is measured from under the head.

Ball Screws and Nuts

Internal ball bearings provide smooth low-friction travel in applications that require high speeds, accurate positioning, and repeatable movement. Also known as single-start ball screws and nuts, they have a single thread that runs the length of the screw. They operate with more torque than fast-travel ball screws and nuts. To ensure compatibility, select components that have the same thread direction and size. Ball nuts are furnished with a tube to keep ball bearings in place. Do not remove the tube until you are ready to install the nuts onto the screws.
Travel distance per turn, also known as screw lead, is the distance a ball nut moves with one revolution of the ball screw.

Ball screws with one machined end fit into an end support and are ready to connect to a motor. To adjust the length, the non-machined end can be cut to size.
Root diameter indicates the diameter the ball screw will be after machining away the threads.

Self-Reversing Lead Screws and Nuts

A crisscross thread pattern allows you to drive the nut back and forth without changing the lead screw's direction of rotation. When the nut reaches one end of the lead screw, it changes direction and travels back to the other end. Also known as diamond lead screws, they're sometimes used to guide cable and wire as it's spooled on a reel.
Travel distance per turn, also known as screw lead, is the distance the nut moves with one revolution of the lead screw.
