Grid Fixture Plates
Use these plates as a foundation for your fixturing setups. Precision ground to tight tolerances, they have holes in a grid pattern for accurate, repeatable positioning.
Fixture plates are thinner and lighter in weight than subplates, so they're often used to build setups that are swapped in and out of machines. Steel plates are stronger than aluminum plates, and their threaded holes are tapped directly into the plate. Some also have unthreaded holes, which are jig-bored and lined with a precision bushing to help reduce wear and ensure accurate placement. Add chip plugs to keep chips and shavings from clogging or damaging unused holes.

Grid Fixture Plates for Welding

Build fixturing setups for welding onto these plates. They have 5/8” unthreaded holes with 2” center-to-center spacing, so they’re compatible with clamps, stops, V-blocks, and other components. Made from nitrided steel, they have a hardened surface that resists wear, prevents corrosion, and keeps weld spatter from sticking. They’re easy to maintain and they hold their shape over time. To add resistance to heat and spatter, apply welding antispatter to all the components in your setup.
Tabletop fixture plates come with a thick, rigid base for supporting setups. These plates are precision-machined and reversible. If one side becomes worn or damaged, flip them over for a fresh work surface. Swap in a replacement plate when both sides wear down.

Hold-down clamps secure work anywhere on the fixture plate’s surface. The arm slides up and down the body of the clamp, so you can quickly move it into position. Twist the handle to tighten the clamp onto your workpiece.

Mount V-blocks to the fixture plate to hold round workpieces in place.
V-blocks with multiple studs slot into at least two grid holes, which keeps them from shifting when you move workpieces in or out. They have two rows of mounting holes, so you can position them at a 45° or 90° angle on your grid.
Pivoting V-blocks can hold both the outer and inner diameter of your workpiece. They can go from cradling the outside of a pipe at 60°, to lying completely flat, to gripping the inside of a pipe at a 60° angle.
