Adjustable Torque Wrenches
Set the desired torque and the wrench indicates when it's reached with an audible click and an impulse in the grip. To relieve pressure on the spring and maintain calibration, set torque to the lowest reading on the scale when not in use. These wrenches come with a calibration certificate that is traceable to NIST or UKAS and includes the test measurements that confirm accuracy.
Note: Accuracy ratings do not apply to the lower 20% of the torque range.

Dial Torque-Measuring Wrenches
A main pointer on the dial shows torque as it’s being applied and a memory pointer indicates the maximum torque reached. Use these wrenches to determine fastener torque specifications as well as to identify the torque required to loosen tightened fasteners. They come with a calibration certificate that is traceable to NIST and includes the test measurements that confirm accuracy.

Striking Square Drive Wrenches
Take a swing and hit these wrenches with a hammer to generate the extra torque you need to break stuck fasteners free. Also known as slugging wrenches. Attach an impact socket (sold separately) that matches the square drive size.

Heavy Duty Air-Powered Impact Wrenches
Built to withstand tough environments, these wrenches have steel or titanium housings to protect them if they fall. Use them when you need high force to turn fasteners. To break stuck fasteners free, apply full torque counterclockwise. To drive fasteners, turn them clockwise within the working torque range. These wrenches can only be used with impact sockets. Air-powered tools require lubrication to operate properly.
Ring-and-hole style and hole-style socket retainers require a retaining ring (not included).

Air-Powered Impact Wrenches
Loosen stubborn fasteners—these wrenches operate at full torque counterclockwise to break stuck bolts free. You can also use them clockwise within their working torque range to tighten fasteners more quickly than with manual wrenches. Use these wrenches with impact sockets only. Air-powered tools require lubrication to operate properly.
D-handle grip wrenches are heavier than straight or pistol grip wrenches, so you need to use two hands to deliver their full power.
Ring-style socket retainers are good for quick socket changes—just pull the socket off the retainer and push on another one.
Ring-and-hole and hole-style socket retainers hold sockets more securely than ring-style retainers and require a retaining ring.
