Automatic Transfer Switches

When the microcontroller inside detects a power outage, these switches automatically fire up a backup generator. They’ll switch back to utility power once power is restored. To prevent injury and damage to your generator, they are open transition, meaning the contacts disconnect from one power source before connecting to another. This is also known as break-before-make switching. These switches also have built-in overload protection, so they can isolate themselves from utility power to protect your facility. LED status lights let you know which power source is in use. Add a padlock (not included) to the lockout to prevent unauthorized changes to the switch. Rated NEMA 1, these switches should only be used indoors.
They're compatible with generators that have a two-wire remote starting system.
NEMA 3R doors make these switches safe for use outdoors since they seal out rain, snow, and sleet. These doors cover the LED status lights on the switch when closed.
