Slide the upper jaw to adjust the opening size. These clamps hold larger workpieces than other locking pliers clamps of similar size. Squeeze the handle to lock the clamp and press the release trigger to open it. Turn the adjusting screw to change the angle of the jaws up to 7° to clamp tapered workpieces. The removable plastic pads prevent damage to material.
