Heat-Reflective Aluminized Welding Mitts

Easy to pull on or off, these mitts are made for welding tasks that don’t require high dexterity. An aluminum backing shields your hands from radiant heat and sparks. The palm is leather for a balance of durability and comfort. These mitts have a separated index finger so you can squeeze the trigger of your welding gun.

Welding Mitts

Use these mitts for welding jobs that don’t require high dexterity. Since they have fewer separated fingers than gloves, they block more heat, and they’re easier to slip on or off. They also reduce the risk of pinky shrink, which happens when heat causes a glove’s pinky area to shrivel. All have a separated index finger so you can squeeze the trigger of your welding gun.
Goatskin mitts are soft, so you can feel finer details than other mitts. Pigskin mitts don’t stiffen when they’re wet. Cowhide mitts balance durability and comfort.
Mitts with a reinforced thumb, palm, or fingers have an extra layer of material to add durability in high-wear areas.
Mitts with a separated middle finger give you more dexterity than mitts with only the index finger separated.
Mitts that meet ANSI/ISEA 105 standards are rated for various forms of protection, such as resistance to abrasions and heat. The higher the rating, the greater the protection.
Mitts that cannot be sold to Canada are restricted by import regulations.

Heavy Duty Cold-Protection Mitts

Tougher than standard cold-protection mitts, these mitts protect your hands from cuts and impacts as well as wintry weather. They’re packed with insulation to keep you warm while you work. To keep you dry, the leather exterior is treated for water resistance. A separated index finger makes it easier to grab and hold objects.
These mitts are rated to ANSI/ISEA 105 standards for resistance to cuts, abrasions, and punctures. The higher the rating, the greater the protection. They also meet ANSI 138 standards for impact resistance. Their EN 388 rating means they adhere to European standards for puncture resistance.
Due to import restrictions, these mitts cannot be sold to Canada.

Cut- and Cold-Protection Mitts

Protect your hands from wintry weather, frozen objects, and sharp edges. Easier to slip on or off than gloves, these mitts are a good choice for tasks that don’t require dexterity. All meet ANSI/ISEA 105 standards for cut, abrasion, and puncture resistance. Their ANSI cut rating reflects the amount of force required to cut through them with a razor blade.
Mitts with an A4 cut rating meet the common minimum cut rating for industrial applications. They’re good for jobs involving sharp-edged materials such as sheet metal and glass. An insulated inner layer provides extra warmth. They also have a separated index finger to easily grip and hold objects.

Cold- and Arc-Flash-Protection Mitts

Made for outdoor utility work, these mitts fit over your coat sleeves to shield you from arc flashes and harsh winter weather. They offer better arc protection than gloves but aren’t ideal for handling small parts. A separated index finger helps improve grip when you do need to handle smaller items. Packed with insulation to keep you warm and protect you from flames, they also have a waterproof lining to keep you dry.
These mitts meet NFPA 70E standards for protection against arc-flash hazards. Arc rating measures a glove’s ability to insulate the wearer from burns; the higher the arc rating, the greater the flame resistance. They also meet ANSI/ISEA 105 standards for resistance to cuts and punctures.
Due to import regulations, they cannot be sold to Canada.
