Large-Diameter Thin-Wall Firm Rubber Tubing for Food, Beverage, and Dairy

- Flexible
- Firm (Durometer 80A)
- Temperature Range: -40° to 190° F
Sized for vibrating sifters, screeners, hoppers, and packaging equipment, this tubing has a diameter of 4" or larger to handle a variety of bulk food processing applications. It is made of FDA listed materials. Free of plasticizers like DEHP, it won’t impart tastes or odors to the product passing through it. Tubing is polyurethane for excellent resistance to abrasion and tearing. The tubing material is ether based, so the tubing won’t degrade in humid environments. Tubing is clear, so you can see inside the line to monitor flow. It is flexible and bends easily around objects.
Tubing connects to fittings with a worm-drive clamp (sold separately).

Low-Carbon Steel Round Tubes

Also known as mild steel, low-carbon steel is easy to machine, form, and weld. It's widely fabricated into parts that don’t require high strength, such as frames, supports, and conduit. This steel is manufactured to ASTM, SAE, or EN standards for quality and performance.
DOM (drawn over mandrel) welded tubes are stronger than ERW (electric resistance welded) tubes.

Multipurpose 304 Stainless Steel
From cookware to chemical-processing equipment, 304 stainless steel is a good all-around choice for a wide range of applications. It maintains its corrosion resistance in temperatures up to 1500° F.
304/304L stainless steel contains less carbon than standard 304 for better weldability.
Seamless round tubes are more corrosion resistant than welded tubes because they don’t have a seam that could potentially introduce impurities.

Clear Scratch- and UV-Resistant Cast Acrylic Tubes

- Color: Clear
- Temperature Range: 0° to 150° F
- Tensile Strength: 10,000-11,250 psi (Good)
- Impact Strength: 0.3-0.4 ft.-lbs./in. (Poor)
- Hardness: Rockwell M94-M100 (Hard)
- For Use Outdoors: Yes
- Specifications Met: See table
Fabricate containers, tanks, and lenses for light fixtures with these scratch- and UV-resistant cast acrylic tubes. Cast acrylic, which is comparable to Lucite and Plexiglas® Acrylic, is easier to machine than extruded acrylic. This material stands up to outdoor use better than polycarbonate and maintains clarity over time.
