Tweezers
Grip a variety of objects with these general purpose tweezers.
Tweezers with slim and offset tips allow more visibility of your work than standard tips. Tweezers with bent and curved tips reach over and around obstructions.
Tweezers with pointed tips give you a firm grip, but they can mar components. Tweezers with round tips won’t mar or nick components. However, they don’t hold objects as well as pointed tips. Tweezers with cylindrical tips hold small components, such as wire, capacitors, and screws. 200 series stainless steel tweezers have good corrosion resistance, but the tips are less durable than 400 series stainless steel. Commonly known as anti-magnetic tweezers, they’re typically nonmagnetic but become slightly magnetic with use.
Tweezers with PVC-, PTFE-, and nylon-coated tips won’t mar delicate components. Tweezers with PTFE-coated tips prevent material from sticking to tweezers.
Tweezers with a dull appearance won’t cause reflections and glare under a microscope.

Extended-Reach Tweezers
Extra-long tips provide access to material in hard-to-reach areas.
Tweezers with round tips won’t nick and mar material you’re working with, but they don’t grip as well as pointed tips.
