    Shielded Solid Wire

    Designed to carry thermocouple signals over longer distances than standard thermocouple wire, this extension wire lengthens existing thermocouple connections.
    Shielded—Shielded wire has a layer of foil that blocks signal interference from nearby equipment and devices. It has an uninsulated ground wire that is not counted in the number of wires.
    Stranded Wire—Stranded wire is flexible, so it’s pliable enough to be pulled around corners.
