Ultrasonic Transmitters
Measure the distance to objects and the level of liquids and materials despite size, shape, or surface finish, and send that information to other parts of your system. Unlike photoelectric switches, which use light to detect objects, these transmitters emit high-frequency sound waves that target small spots, so the surface and structure of your object won’t affect results. This makes them great for materials with uneven surfaces, such as granules and powder. They also sense objects in dirty and wet places, but they don’t work well where there’s wind, since it could disrupt their sound waves. Use their plug to quickly connect and disconnect to cables with a socket (sold separately). UL listed, C-UL listed, and CE marked, they meet American, Canadian, and European safety standards.
All transmitters have an analog output, which means they continuously send measurements to monitor status and manage components in your system. Some also have a digital output that signals your controller to turn components on or off whenever an object is detected or a set level is reached. Those with IO Link connect to a programmable logic controller (PLC), so you can remotely change settings and receive error messages. You need an IO-Link controller (not included) to connect.
90° elbow transmitters are compact to fit in tight spaces. They’re best for conveyors.
Rated IP67, all of these transmitters seal out dust and water if briefly submersed. NEMA 6 rated transmitters also stand up to weather and washdowns.

Noncontact Liquid-Level Transmitters
Using high-frequency soundwaves, these transmitters measure the levels of corrosive, dirty, or sticky liquids without coming into contact with them. They’ll continuously send measurements, so you can monitor status and manage components in your system. Mount at the top of your tank. There should be no tank walls, agitators, or other objects in the path of the soundwaves.
Ultrasonic transmitters are often used to measure water, wastewater, chemicals, and oil but won’t work on vapors, foam, and other media that’s difficult to measure. The included fob allows you to connect your transmitter to your computer, where you'll download software that guides you through the setup process to make sure you get accurate readings. Ultrasonic transmitters with a button interface can be set up and calibrated without the fob. Transmitters with a switch can also signal your controller to turn components on or off when they reach a set level.
NEMA 6P rated transmitters protect against dust, weather, washdowns, corrosion, and submersion. IP68 rated transmitters seal out dust and water from temporary submersion.

Ultrasonic Switches
Detect objects and liquid or material levels to set off actions in your system—regardless of size, shape, or surface finish. These switches send out high-frequency sound waves that target small areas, so the surface and structure of your object won't affect results like photoelectric sensors, which sense using light. This makes them great for materials with uneven surfaces, such as granules and powder. They also sense objects when obscured by smoke, dust, debris, or water, but they don't work as well where there's wind, since it could disrupt their sound waves. Once an object is detected or a set level is reached, the digital output sends a signal to your controller to turn components in your system on or off. Use their plug to quickly connect and disconnect to cables with a socket (sold separately). UL listed, C-UL listed, and CE marked, all meet American, Canadian, and European safety standards.
Switches with two outputs let you set a minimum level on one output and a maximum on the other—for example, you can keep liquid levels constant by turning on a pump when the level drops too low and turning off the pump when it reaches the maximum.
Switches with IO Link connect to a programmable logic controller (PLC), so you can change settings and receive error messages remotely. You need an IO-Link controller (not included) to connect.
Switches with PNP/NPN signal output automatically produce the signal you need based on the connected device.
90° elbow switches are compact to fit in tight spaces. They’re best for conveyors.
Rated IP67, all of these switches seal out dust and water if briefly submersed. NEMA 6 rated switches also stand up to weather and washdowns.

Distance-Measuring Modules for Development Boards
Stream distance readings to your development board in real time. Set up these modules near your robotics, production lines, or liquid monitoring systems to capture changing positioning.
Ultrasonic modules use sound pulses to measure distance. They can be used in low lighting. However, they may not be accurate on soft, small, or oddly shaped objects that won’t reflect sound waves properly.

Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges
Measure the thickness of material such as metal and plastic. The ultrasonic probe provides highly accurate readings. This gauge comes with a calibration certificate traceable to NIST that states it has passed a test for accuracy. It also includes a USB cord for connecting to your PC. Use the included ultrasonic gel for maximum surface contact.
Use calibration blocks to calibrate your thickness gauge. All blocks have a serial number and come with a calibration certificate traceable to NIST.
Ultrasonic Painted-Surface Thickness Gauges
Measure the thickness of painted metal without removing the coating.
Ultrasonic Gas Leak Detectors
This detector converts ultrasonic waves to an audible sound so you can find leaks. Unlike typical leak detectors, this unit doesn’t rely only on the presence of a gas to work, making it suitable for a wider range of applications. In addition to gas leaks, it identifies ultrasonic sound caused by failing solenoids, valves, and bearings.
For systems under 10 psi, use the optional ultrasonic sound generator.
Import regulations restrict sales to the listed areas.
Acoustic Imaging Gas Leak Detectors
Locate leaks up to 10 times faster than traditional leak-detecting methods. These detectors use 124 microphones to determine the precise location and size of leaks in compressed air and specific gas systems. The screen displays a high-resolution acoustic image that’s overlaid on a digital live shot of your facility to help you visualize the leak. It also displays analytics related to the leak, such as the rate and the potential cost savings of patching your system. You can capture the on-screen view through photos and video to review later. With a built-in flashlight, they remain accurate even in low-light spaces. Light enough to carry with one hand, you can bring these detectors on the go. A 650 ft. range means you can use them from one end of your facility to another, or to detect in hard-to-reach systems.
Connect the detector to your computer using Wi-Fi or the included USB cable to quickly transfer collected data.

Grease-Dispensing Monitors
Extend the life of bearings by using these monitors to take the guesswork out of lubrication. Their sensor captures the ultrasonic vibration of grease as it fills your bearing and converts it into sound you can hear. As your bearing draws in the grease, the sound becomes quieter. Even in loud machine shops, you'll be able to track this sound with the noise-cancelling headphones and noise level readings shown on the monitor's screen. When the noise level stops decreasing, the bearing can't absorb any more grease and you should stop pumping grease to avoid over-lubricating your bearing.
The handset guides you through the steps for setting the noise level before applying grease. Use either the curved or flat magnetic mount to attach the sensor to the bearing. The monitor mounts to your grease gun, so you’ll have your hands free for pumping grease.
