Stainless Steel Phillips Flat Head Screws for Sheet Metal

Image of Product. Front orientation. Tapping Screws. Stainless Steel Phillips Flat Head Screws for Sheet Metal.
These corrosion-resistant screws fasten trim, brackets, and other objects with countersunk holes to sheet metal. The head is flat on top and beveled underneath to sit flush with surfaces. Screws have a pointed tip that starts a hole in sheets up to 0.025" thick, but for thicker material you’ll need to drill first. The Phillips drive handles enough torque to keep drivers from slipping.
Length is measured from the top of the head.
18-8 Stainless Steel—The choice for wet and outdoor environments, these screws resist rust. However, they won't hold up to the harsh chemicals that 316 stainless steel can.
Highly Corrosion-Resistant 316 Stainless Steel—Superior to 18-8 stainless steel, these screws withstand harsh weather, salt water, and most chemicals.

Stainless Steel Phillips Flat Head Drilling Screws

Image of Product. Front orientation. Tapping Screws. Stainless Steel Phillips Flat Head Drilling Screws.
These corrosion-resistant screws drill and fasten in one step to secure trim, brackets, and other objects with countersunk holes. They have a flat, beveled head to sit flush with surfaces. The Phillips drive withstands less torque than a hex drive, so drill with even, steady pressure.
Length is measured from the top of the head.
410 Stainless Steel—Tougher and more wear resistant than other stainless steel screws but less corrosion resistant.

Steel Phillips Flat Head Thread-Cutting Screws

Image of Product. Front orientation. Tapping Screws. Steel Phillips Flat Head Thread-Cutting Screws.
Cut threads as you drive these screws, and their beveled head sits neatly inside countersunk holes. They remove material to create threads, so they’re easier to install and put less stress on your workpiece than thread-forming screws. The Phillips drive handles enough torque to keep drivers from slipping.
Length is measured from the top of the head.
Zinc-Plated Steel—A common choice for areas with occasional exposure to moisture.

    Blunt-Tip Wood Screws

Image of Product. Front orientation. Wood Screws. Blunt-Tip Wood Screws.
Secure drawer slides and cabinets. Also known as Euro screws, they have deep, coarse threads that create a strong, vibration-resistant hold in small, shallow holes. The blunt tip protects the wood if the screw is overtightened and the flat head sits flush to prevent snags. The Pozidriv® drive is comparable to a Phillips drive, but has better grip to reduce slipping. All of these screws require a drilled hole.
Nickel-Plated Steel—Nickel plating looks good and lasts long. It combines rust resistance with a bright metallic shine that looks the part in cabinetry and architecture.

Steel Phillips Flat Head Blunt Screws for Sheet Metal

Image of Product. Front orientation. Tapping Screws. Steel Phillips Flat Head Blunt Screws for Sheet Metal.
Create a flush finish in sheet metal while reducing the chance of damaging it. These screws have a flat, beveled head for countersunk holes and a blunt tip instead of a point. Drill a hole before installing screws and the fine threads form a vibration-resistant hold. The Phillips drive handles enough torque to keep drivers from slipping.
Length is measured from under the head.

Steel Phillips Oval Head Screws for Sheet Metal

Image of Product. Front orientation. Tapping Screws. Steel Phillips Oval Head Screws for Sheet Metal.
The decorative rounded top of these screws peeks out from the surface of trim work. Beveled under the head, they’re often used in countersunk holes. Their pointed tip starts a hole in sheet metal up to 0.025" thick, but for thicker material you’ll need to drill first. The Phillips drive handles enough torque to keep drivers from slipping.
Black-Oxide Steel—Typically chosen for their appearance, these screws have a dark, matte coating for a finished look. They offer minimal corrosion resistance, so they're best for dry environments.

Stainless Steel Phillips Flat Head Drilling Screws for Joining Wood to Sheet Metal

Image of Product. Without Cutting Wings. Front orientation. Wood Screws. Stainless Steel Phillips Flat Head Drilling Screws for Joining Wood to Sheet Metal.

    Without Cutting

    Wings

These rust-resistant screws join wood to sheet metal by drilling, tapping, and fastening in one go. Their self-drilling tip clears the way while their threads tap into the material. Made of stainless steel, they also won't degrade from chemically treated wood, such as ACQ-treated (arsenic-free) lumber. The flat head sits flush, so you won't need to worry about snags. The Phillips drive handles enough torque to drive into most kinds of wood without slipping.
Length is measured from the top of the head.
Galvanic-Barrier-Coated 18-8 Stainless Steel—A protective layer stops corrosion from metal-to-metal contact. A good choice for outdoor and wet environments, these screws also won't rust.
