    Light-Activated Instant-Bond Adhesives

Image of Product. Front orientation. Instant-Bond Adhesives. Light-Activated Instant-Bond Adhesives.
Take your time positioning parts that require precise alignment, such as optical instruments. Instead of gripping immediately, these adhesives only harden when you expose them to a compatible light source.
    Syringe—Apply with a dispensing gun.
Thin Liquid—Seep into narrow gaps and joints that thick-liquid adhesives can't reach. Use when bonding close-fitting parts.
Thick Liquid—Fill larger gaps than thin-liquid adhesives, so they're better for bonding slightly misaligned or uneven surfaces.
ISO 10993—Comply with biocompatibility standards for medical-grade applications.

Press these putty surface fillers in place to fill in holes, cracks, and dents. When exposed to sunlight or a UV lamp, they begin to harden immediately.
Epoxy—Epoxy fillers provide better adhesion and more corrosion resistance than polyester plastic fillers.

Clear enough to read through, these UV-resistant potting compounds allow optimal light transmission for use with LEDs, solar cells, and fiber optics. Use them to encase electronic assemblies for protection from dust, chemicals, moisture, mechanical shock, and vibration. Rigid and wear resistant, epoxies are the strongest of the potting compounds. They have excellent chemical and moisture resistance, withstand a wide range of temperatures, and provide excellent electrical insulation. All require a mixer nozzle and gun to dispense.

    Component-Concealing Conformal Coatings

Image of Product. Front orientation. Conformal Coatings. Component-Concealing Conformal Coatings.
Hide proprietary information on electrical components while also protecting them from moisture, dust, and static. All it takes is a single thin layer of these black coatings. They’re often used to protect custom parts while prototyping. Place them under a UV curing lamp to fully harden them in just 5 seconds. Made of urethane rubber, they resist chemicals and scratches and won’t crack in low temperatures. That means they’re great for harsh environments. These coatings meet UL 94 V-0 for flame retardance.
These coatings are thinner than potting compounds, so they flow into the smallest contours to cover your parts completely. They also don’t require a potting box or other container. Dispense these coatings with a gun (sold separately).

    5-Step Tip

To simultaneously mix and dispense two-part adhesives, attach these mixer nozzles to a dual cartridge. Mixing elements help combine the two parts of an adhesive as it flows through the nozzle. A short nozzle with many mixing elements combines adhesive while minimizing the adhesive left in the nozzle after dispensing. Choose a nozzle that matches the connection type, size, and mix ratio of your adhesive cartridge.
