Also known as V-rings and flingers, these seals protect shaft bearings by blocking dust and other contaminants while retaining lubricant. They’re Buna-N for excellent resistance to oil and grease. To install, stretch the seal over your shaft and press it firmly against the faceplate. The Seal OD and Seal Width listed are the dimensions of the seal after it is installed.

PTFE Stackable V-Ring Packing Seals


Male and Female Adapters Stacked with Five V-Rings	Profile

Made of PTFE, these V-ring packing seals have excellent chemical resistance and withstand a wide temperature range of -110° F to 500° F. Stack as many V-rings as you need to fill grooves in valves, pumps, and cylinders.

Begin with a male and female adapter, then add V-rings between them to fill the space. Each V-ring adds to the sealing force; the female adapter also has a sealing edge. For a complete seal, you need male and female adapters (sold together) and at least one V-ring (sold in packs of 5).

High-Pressure Leather Stackable V-Ring Packing Seals


Five V-Rings Stacked		Profile

These leather V-ring packing seals handle over twice the pressure as PTFE. Leather is tough, pliable, and wear resistant, so it flexes to fit uneven surfaces and fill voids. Stack as many V-rings as you need to fill grooves in valves, pumps, and cylinders—each additional ring adds to the sealing force.
