    Large-Area Vacuum Lifters

With multiple suction points, these lifters have a large vacuum footprint to grip bulky items. They’re often used to arrange boxed items on pallets. They can also lift more than one item at a time. For instance, use them to pick up two side-by-side packages and place them in a box for shipping.
A built-in vacuum generator, also called a venturi device, creates suction using a compressed air supply. To control when they activate and release, you’ll need your own air control valves. You can also integrate these lifters with your control system to signal when they’ve picked up an item—they have a port to connect a vacuum transmitter.
These lifters are made of aluminum, so they’re lightweight and withstand corrosion. Use the mounting slots to attach them to T-slotted framing. Alternatively, slide a robot adapter plate into the slots to connect your lifter to robot arms with compatible ISO mounting patterns.

    Replacement Cup

Lifters with cups are the best choice for most lifting. Made of Buna-N, the cups are more durable and last longer than foam pads. They also stand up to abrasion and oil. The cups have bellows, which help the cups seal tightly on glass and other smooth surfaces. They also help the cups conform to flexible materials and irregular shapes for a firm grip.
Maximum Weight Capacity—Maximum weight capacity is achieved only when lifting items with smooth, nonporous surfaces, such as glass and sheet metal. Materials like cardboard leak air when lifted, which reduces your lifter’s capacity. For instance, you can lift about 80% of the maximum capacity when using these lifters on a cardboard box similar to those we ship our parts in. Maximum capacity is also reduced when lifted items don’t fully cover all suction points.
