Noncontact Vacuum Lifters


Lifter and Damper Sold Separately

Lift and move porous, uneven, and delicate items without damaging them. Unlike other vacuum lifters, which seal to the surface of your workpiece, these lifters pick up items without touching them. Also known as Bernoulli lifters, they use a compressed air source to create a negative pressure zone, so you don’t need a separate vacuum generator. They’re also low-maintenance—they don’t use vacuum cups, and the durable steel housing is built for a long service life. These lifters are not for use with electronics or other items sensitive to static discharge.

If your workpiece is uneven, it may touch the lifter surface as it moves.

Capacity and air consumption are based on lifting a flat workpiece horizontally.

Lifters with Steel Pads

Vacuum Lifter Dampers—To create a soft area for your object to touch, add vacuum lifter dampers to the lifter face. These rubber discs gently press against your workpiece, adding enough friction to keep it from slipping and dropping.

Food and Beverage Push-On Vacuum Cups for Soft and Porous Objects

Press these cups onto unthreaded fittings on your vacuum system to pick up bread, pastries, and other soft material. They can also replace worn cups on threaded vacuum cups. With more bellows than other vacuum cups, they gently compress onto delicate, spongy objects without damaging them. They don't have pits, crevices, or tight angles, so they're easy to clean and won't harbor bacteria. They're made from FDA-compliant silicone rubber, so they're safe for direct contact with food.

The metal additive in these cups will set off metal detectors if they fall into your line. They're also blue, so it's easy to find and remove stray cups. They help you comply with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs to keep contaminated food from leaving your facility.

Plastic Fitting—Cups with a plastic fitting are lighter than stainless steel fittings, so they won't weigh down your robot arm. However, they are not as strong or corrosion resistant as stainless steel.

Stainless Steel Fitting—Cups with a stainless steel fitting won't corrode from the harsh cleaning agents used in washdown applications. They're stronger than plastic fittings, but they're also heavier.
