Coolant-Resistant Economy Continuous Dial Plunger-Style Variance Indicators
Often used in machine shops, these indicators are rated IP65 for protection from dust, spraying water, and coolant. They have a continuous dial numbered clockwise around the face, so it’s easy to see how much a dimension increases. A spring-loaded plunger retracts and extends to measure objects. Adjust the tolerance pointers to mark measurements that fall outside your limits.

Compact Electronic Plunger-Style Variance Indicators with Remote Readout
Read measurements from up to 4 ft. away. Instead of a dial on the probe, these indicators have a cord that connects the probe to the display. This also makes it easy to fit the probe into tight spaces. To measure objects, they have a spring-loaded plunger that retracts and extends. Use them in machine shops where it’s dusty, wet, or exposed to coolant because they’re IP rated.
All have zero-position memory, which retains the measuring position when the indicator is off. This is also known as absolute (ABS) positioning. A zero-set button lets you start measuring at any point. The go/no-go operation indicates when measurements fall outside your set tolerance. You can connect them to your computer or data processor since they have SPC data output.
5-pin USB data cable (sold separately) connects the indicator directly to your PC.
Wireless data transmitter/receiver sets (sold separately) allow you to transmit measurement data from an indicator to your PC without being tethered by a cable.

Electronic Lever-Style Variance Indicators
Also known as test indicators, these have a lever-style contact point that pivots as it comes into contact with a surface. Rotate the dial face for viewing at multiple angles. They have selectable measurement increments and can be displayed as digits or in a bar graph. Transmit measurement data to any Bluetooth-enabled device without being tethered by a cable. These indicators are rated IP65 for protection against dust and spraying water or coolant.
