Brass and Bronze Steam Traps

These steam traps have good corrosion resistance. Also known as thermostatic steam traps, they increase the efficiency of your radiator by venting cool air. Steam traps open and close based on temperature. They are often used with convection heaters, drip lines, and risers.

Steam traps with vertical pipeline orientation should be installed with the outlet pointing down.

Submersible Threaded Breather Vents

Nickel-Plated Brass

Use these vents to maintain consistent pressure as temperatures fluctuate by allowing air to flow through sealed enclosures. All have a hydrophobic and oleophobic filter membrane that blocks moisture and contamination from particle buildup.

Nickel-plated brass vents stand up to corrosive environments better than nylon and polycarbonate vents. They’re also durable, which means you won’t have to replace them as often.

Vented Brass Submersible Cord Grips

Secure cable installed through enclosures in wet environments while venting air to protect electronics from condensation. Vents on these cord grips equalize pressure between the inside and outside of an enclosure, preventing harmful moisture from forming. They are nickel-plated brass, so they resist corrosion. These cord grips are rated IP66 and IP67 for protection from dust, washdown, and temporary submersion.

Drum Vents

Prevent drum failure by using these vents to release pressure and vacuum buildup caused by draining liquids and sudden temperature changes. In case of fire, a flame arrester prevents flashback into the drum.

Style D has a removable cap so it can be used as a fill opening.

Style E comes with two carbon filters. The filter traps 99% of vapors.
