Made of Viton® fluoroelastomer rubber, these seals stand up to fuels and aggressive chemicals, such as petroleum oil, hydrofluoric acid, and propyl alcohol.

The flat edges of this cord stock contact more surface area than round-profile cord stock, forming a tighter seal in faucets and other stationary parts. It’s also less likely to twist or shift in equipment with repeated pressure changes, such as molding machines.

Harder than standard Viton® fluoroelastomer cord stock for better wear resistance.

More chemical resistant than standard Viton® fluoroelastomer, this cord stock is made of Grade ETP Viton® fluoroelastomer. It resists harsh chemicals, such as calcium hydroxide, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), and nitric and phosphoric acids.
