Strip-Resistant Screws for Joining Drywall to Wood
Ribs under the head act as a brake to prevent over-tightening and damaging threads. A sharp point penetrates wood and sheet metal, and alternating high and low threads minimize driving torque. These screws are made from steel and have a coating that resists up to 500 hours of salt spray. Length is measured from the top of the head.
