    Plastic Washers

    All of these washers are lightweight, nonconductive, and naturally rust resistant. They are commonly used in electronics and automation applications to take the pressure off screws and nuts and protect mounting surfaces.
    Chemical-Resistant High-Strength PVDF—Stronger than PTFE washers, but not quite as chemical resistant. These resist alcohols, fuel oils, and solvents, however they won't stand up to harsh bases, such as potassium hydroxide, as well as PTFE. Comparable to Kynar and Solef.
