Permanently mount the base of one of these clamps to a work surface and easily move the clamp on and off the surface. The clamping arm slides freely along the bar for quick positioning. Use the handle for final tightening. The copper-plated clamp components resist weld spatter.

Cotton Fabric—Cotton is treated to protect against low radiant heat and minor sparks.
Leather—Leather protects against radiant heat, flames, and welding sparks. It’s flexible and resists cuts and abrasion better than cotton. There is a pocket on the right sleeve.

They also keep weld spatter from building up and weighing down the arm, so you can spend less time on maintenance. They come in pieces that are easy to install or remove—use the hook and loop strips on the seams to join them.

These pads allow you to rest your arm on a hot surface while welding. Use them to shield your arms from welding sparks and spatter.
Stick Welding Gloves

Padding Provides Added Protection Against Heat |
Shield your hands from welding sparks and spatter common in stick welding. These gloves protect from heat better than TIG and MIG welding gloves, but their thick construction makes it harder to handle small parts.
Reinforced gloves have extra material to slow down wear in high-contact spots, so they last longer.
Replacement left-hand gloves are a good choice for right-handed welders who need to frequently replace the glove that wears out faster from heat.
