Multiprocess Welders
Repair most metal with a single machine—these welders perform MIG, TIG, and stick welds. Often used for general purpose applications, MIG welding is faster than other techniques and easiest to learn. TIG welding works on thin metal and leaves a clean appearance, so it’s commonly used for finish work. Stick welding is best for heavy duty welds on thick or dirty metal. It’s also the easiest to do outdoors, since it doesn’t use shielding gas that could be affected by wind.
TIG torches are required for TIG welding. TIG foot pedals let you control amperage while TIG welding.
Spool guns hold welding wire for use when MIG welding aluminum.
Use carts to transport welders, gas, and accessories.

Stud Welding Systems
Join threaded studs and pins to steel and stainless steel with resistance welding that won't damage the opposite side of the material.
Collets must be the same size as the stud or pin you are welding and are not interchangeable with studs from other systems.
Threaded studs are for thin-gauge base materials. 18-8 stainless steel studs are more corrosion resistant than copper-coated steel studs.
Pins are for installing insulation and acoustical lining.

Spot Welders
Use these welders on mild and galvanized steel as well as stainless steel. The tongs have pointed welding tips that hold and weld the metal pieces together. Do not use on aluminum, copper, or copper alloys.
Maximum material thickness is based on the total thickness of multiple sheets of uncoated mild steel when using 4 15/16" tongs. Capacities are slightly reduced when welding galvanized steel and stainless steel and when using 9 13/16", 13 3/4", or 19 5/8" tongs.
