Threaded Rod Eye Nuts

Add an eye nut to threaded rod to hang the rod from rings, hooks, and hangers.

Note: Capacity is for the eye nut only. Mounting surface and fastening hardware will affect the ultimate capacity.

Socket Eye Nuts—Socket eye nuts hang threaded rod from center-mount beam clamps. A cutout on the side of the nut makes it easier to see thread engagement after the nut is installed.

Turnbuckle Eye Nuts—Turnbuckle eye nuts have a swivel eye that allows height adjustment after installation.

Rod End Nuts

Attach these nuts to rods, pipes, and tubes to make pivoting and hinge movements where misalignment is not a concern. They’re often used to control air- and hydraulic-powered arms as well as other components in power transmission systems. Made of zinc-plated steel, these nuts resist being dislodged. They’re heavy, however, and may corrode over time as the plating wears down.
