About Brightness and Light Appearance

Find the right lumen level to brighten your space. Then, compare the way warm, neutral, and cool lighting affect the appearance of everyday objects.

Strip Machine Lights

As chips fly and coolant splashes, these lights shine bright in tough machining conditions. Use them to light up your CNC machine for everything from tool swaps to tune-ups. A thick, tempered glass lens shields them from damage. Rated IP67, these lights are also sealed for protection against dust and temporary submersion, so they’ll hold up in wet and dirty environments.

Style A are the most common. They include mounting brackets that pivot to aim light where you need it. Cascadable lights require a cord (sold separately) to link multiple lights. If you’d rather place a switch in a different spot, add a rocker switch (sold separately).

Style B have a thin, flat profile—no thicker than a slice of bread—to fit into the tightest spaces. Use the through holes to mount them directly to your machine’s surface.

Style C include hardware for both magnetic and permanent mounting. When mounted, they pivot to either side to aim light where needed. Hardwire lights can be hardwired to your power supply.

Color-Changing Strip Machine Lights

Signal machine status with changing colors—green for running, yellow for standby, red for stopped—then switch to a bright white light to illuminate maintenance or tool changes. Using your programmable logic controller (PLC), you can adjust the brightness of these lights and mix red, green, and blue light to achieve thousands of colors. A tempered glass lens protects them from coolants and lubricants, as well as impacts from chips and shavings. All meet IP67 for protection against dust and temporary submersion, so they hold up in wet or dirty environments. They require a cord (sold separately) to connect to your PLC.

Lights with IO link let you control color, brightness, and flashing patterns when used with IO link-enabled machines.

Magnetic mounting brackets (sold separately) allow for quick, temporary installation on metal surfaces inside your machine.

Recessed-Mount Strip Machine Lights

Mount these lights into an opening in your CNC machine. They sit flush with the surface for a streamlined look, and they free up space for setting up or maintaining your machine. A tempered glass lens protects them from coolants and lubricants, as well as impacts from chips and shavings. Rated IP67, these lights are sealed to protect them from dust and temporary submersion in water. They’re also rated IP69K for protection from high-temperature sprays from washdowns. All require a cord (sold separately) to connect to your 24V DC power supply. M12 plugs are compatible with cords that have the same number of poles or more.
