    Side-Mount Window Balancers

    Use pliers to pull

    the spring’s load

    clip to attach an

    object.

Install these balancers on a vertical frame to suspend, lift, or lower objects that move vertically in a track such as windows, doors, and panels. All have a spring that provides constant resistance throughout the travel length to suspend objects with minimal effort. Use pliers to pull the spring’s load clip to attach an object. Once the object is attached, the spring is released until the object is balanced.
While these balancers can be used individually on doors and panels, they are often used in pairs to ensure smooth movement. When used on windows, two are required for each sash. All of these balancers are rated for weights—make sure the weight of the object falls within the weight range listed. The load capacity stamped on each balancer is the load capacity for a pair.

Mount these balancers in the corner of a horizontal frame to suspend, lift, or lower objects that move vertically in a track such as windows, doors, and panels. All have a spring that provides constant resistance throughout the travel length to suspend objects with minimal effort. Use pliers to pull the spring’s load clip to attach an object. Once the object is attached, the spring is released until the object is balanced.
