Electrical Wire Strippers
The plier nose on these wire strippers is useful for pulling and looping wire. All of these strippers are marked with their wire gauge sizes, so it’s easy to select the correct size.
Steel strippers stay sharp with continuous use. Stainless steel strippers resist corrosion and won't rust as quickly as strippers with steel blades when stored. They're best for less frequent use because their blades dull more quickly than steel blades.

Confined-Space Squeeze-and-Strip Electrical Wire Strippers

Because you insert wire from the front, you can use this tool in tight spaces. It has blades that automatically adjust to the wire size and an adjustable stop to set the strip length. It strips multiple wires with one squeeze.
Wire strippers with an angled handle give you an ergonomic grip when working on a table or workbench.
Replacement blades (sold separately) include both the upper and lower blades.

Armored Cable and Flexible Metal Conduit Strippers

Strip armored cable, such as BX and MC cable, in addition to flexible metal conduit. Turn the crank to make a slit in the cable or conduit, then twist to remove the outer layer without damaging the wires inside or having to debur the ends. Strippers can cut at the end or middle of cable or conduit.
Strippers with a hand clamp hold your cable in place.
Combination Electrical Wire Strippers and Crimpers
Strip wire and crimp connectors with one tool.
Tools with a plier nose are useful for pulling and looping wire.
Tools with a voltage detector safely test for AC voltage without contacting live wires. Light and sound indicators alert you when over 50 volts AC is detected. The detector is attached to the tool’s handle; remove it from the handle to use it on its own.
Steel tools stay sharp with continuous use. Stainless steel tools are good for less frequent use. Their stripping blades dull more quickly than steel tools, but they resist corrosion and won't rust as quickly when stored.
