Wire Rope with Swivel Hook—For Lifting

The swivel hook with latch installed on one end, prevents the wire rope from twisting. It is for use with winches. Individual wire strands are preformed to maintain their shape and prevent rope from unraveling when cut.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.
For technical drawings and 3-D models, click on a part number.
Mounting-Plate-End Sleeve-Grip Wire Rope End Fittings—Not for Lifting

Create a wire rope railing, perimeter, or barrier. To install, mount the fitting to a wall or post, then unscrew the fitting, slide over the wire rope, and tighten the pieces together with a wrench. The plate has swivel ends. Made of 316 stainless steel, these are the most corrosion resistant fittings we offer.
Warning: Test all assemblies for required strength before use. Do not use with coated rope unless the coating is removed.

Fray the end of the wire rope with a marlin spike and screw the socket over the plug to install. An inspection hole confirms proper installation—If wire strands are visible, the fitting has been properly secured.
Use an assembly kit (not included) to support the wire rope while driving the plug into the wire rope end.
Zinc-plated steel fittings have mild corrosion resistance.
Warning: Fittings must match rope diameter and be installed correctly to obtain maximum holding power. Test all assemblies for required strength before use. Do not use with coated rope unless the coating is removed.

Closed-Body Mounting-Plate-to-Wire Rope Turnbuckles—Not for Lifting

Create a wire rope railing, perimeter, or barrier. These turnbuckles have a closed body that protects them from damage and debris and keeps them slim enough to fit in tight spaces. All are 316 stainless steel, so they have excellent resistance to chemicals and salt water.
Turnbuckles with a sleeve grip fitting have a mounting plate with swivel ends. To install, mount the turnbuckle to a wall or post. Then unscrew the fitting, slide over the wire rope, and tighten the pieces together with a wrench.
Warning: Turnbuckles must match rope diameter and be installed correctly to obtain maximum holding power. Test all assemblies for required strength before use. Do not use with coated rope unless the coating is removed.
Note: Capacities listed are for in-line pulling only.
