    Wire Rope

Image of Product. 7 × 7 Strand Core. Front orientation. Wire Rope. Wire Rope, 7 × 7 Strand Core Wire Rope.

    7 × 7 Strand Core

The most common wire rope for hanging fixtures, tethering equipment, and constructing barriers. It balances flexibility and abrasion resistance —you can bend it if needed, but it has fewer wires that could break over time, so it lasts longer.
    Warning: Not for overhead lifting.
Galvanized Steel—The outer layer resists moisture but can wear down when exposed to salt water and chemicals.
Wire Rope Construction—Strand cores are more crush and impact-resistant than hollow cores. However, you can run electrical wiring or fluid conduit through hollow core ropes.
Preformed—With each wire shaped into a spiral before being twisted onto the rope, they maintain their shape when cut. This keeps them from unraveling or poking equipment and users.

    7 × 19 IWRC

Lift everything from heavy machinery to timber. With more than twice as many individual wires as standard wire rope, it bends easily without wear. Use it with cranes and hoists.
Warning: Never use wire rope to lift people or items over people.
Steel—Best for dry environments since moisture will cause this wire rope to rust.
High-Strength Steel—Higher carbon content makes this rope 10% stronger than standard steel rope, but it can rust when exposed to moisture. Also known as Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS) or Extra Extra Improved Plow Steel (EEIPS) rope.
High-Strength Galvanized Steel—Higher carbon content makes this wire rope 10% stronger than standard galvanized steel rope, while a thick outer layer protects it from corrosion. Also known as Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS) or Extra Extra Improved Plow Steel (EEIPS) rope.
Wire Rope Construction—Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC) is the strongest wire rope construction.
Preformed—With each wire shaped into a spiral before being twisted onto the rope, they maintain their shape when cut. This keeps them from unraveling or poking equipment and users.

    Ultra-Flexible Wire Rope for Lifting

Image of Product. Front orientation. CrossSection view. Wire Rope. Ultra-Flexible Wire Rope for Lifting.
Our most flexible wire rope. It contains the most individual wires within it, so it can bend around a small radius repeatedly without wear. Loop it around small pulleys and sheaves to lift and suspend equipment and materials.
Warning: Never use wire rope to lift people or items over people.
Steel—Best for dry environments since moisture will cause this wire rope to rust.
Galvanized Steel—The outer layer resists moisture but can wear down when exposed to salt water and chemicals.

Wind this wire rope onto a winch or drum to pull and tow vehicles, trailers, and more. It contains more than twice as many individual wires as standard wire rope to bend easily without wear. All rope is manufactured in the U.S.
    Warning: Not for overhead lifting.
Steel—Best for dry environments since moisture will cause this wire rope to rust.
Galvanized Steel—The outer layer resists moisture but can wear down when exposed to salt water and chemicals.
Wire Rope Construction—Strand cores are more crush and impact-resistant than fiber cores, but fiber core ropes bend more easily and absorb shock.
Preformed—With each wire shaped into a spiral before being twisted onto the rope, they maintain their shape when cut. This keeps them from unraveling or poking equipment and users.

Ultra-Flexible Wear-Resistant Wire Rope for Lifting

Image of Product. Front orientation. Wire Rope. Ultra-Flexible Wear-Resistant Wire Rope for Lifting.
Wind and unwind this flexible rope without wearing it down over time. The flattened outer strands create a smooth surface that spreads contact across winches, pulleys, and drums to reduce wear.
Warning: Never use wire rope to lift people or items over people.
Steel—Best for dry environments since moisture will cause this wire rope to rust.
Wire Rope Construction—Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC) is the strongest wire rope construction.
Preformed—With each wire shaped into a spiral before being twisted onto the rope, they maintain their shape when cut. This keeps them from unraveling or poking equipment and users.

    Rotation-Resistant Wire Rope for Lifting

    18 × 7 IWRC

This wire rope won't spin or twist loads in the air. The outer strands twist in the opposite direction of the inner strands to keep loads stable when lifted or suspended. They're often used to lift and lower elevators without any unwanted movement.
Warning: Never use wire rope to lift people or items over people.
Steel—Best for dry environments since moisture will cause this wire rope to rust.
Wire Rope Construction— Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC) is the strongest wire rope construction, but strand core rope is a durable alternative for lighter-duty applications.
Preformed—With each wire shaped into a spiral before being twisted onto the rope, they maintain their shape when cut. This keeps them from unraveling or poking equipment and users.
