    Flame-Retardant Wraparound Wire Sleeving

    Sheathe cable, wire, and hose in a protective cover in case of a fire. Rated VW-1, this sleeving meets requirements for preventing the spread of flames based on a timed test with vertically suspended material. A slit spans its entire length, so you can wrap it around components without disconnecting them. Even when flexed, the slit’s overlap closure keeps it shut. Since this sleeving is braided, heat and moisture can dissipate.
    Cut this sleeving to length with a hot-blade knife.

    Flame-Retardant Hook-and-Loop Wraparound Wire Sleeving

    Flame rated VW-1, you can safely use this sleeving on wiring in multi-level facilities as well as in industrial machinery and vehicles. It also meets military standards for flame retardance. A hook and loop strip along its length makes it easy to wrap around and access installed components. Since this sleeving is braided, heat and moisture have space to escape.
