    MIG Welding Wire for Steel

Image of Product. Front orientation. MIG Welding Wire.
Join steel together with this welding wire.
ER70S-2—ER70S-2 wire is good for welding over rust and mill scale. It is made from a blend that helps remove contaminants and imperfections from the weld pool.
ER70S-3—ER70S-3 wire is good for welding carbon steel in general fabrication applications. It has a low silicon content, so you can powder coat your welds.
ER70S-6—ER70S-6 wire is good for welding dirty, oily, and rusty steel. You can also use it to join misaligned pieces together. It creates X-ray quality welds without air pockets for a smoother and more uniform welding bead than standard welding wire. Its high silicon content allows it to flow easily when melted, so it spreads out to fill in the space between two pieces of your weld before hardening.

    Coated Wire Rope

Image of Product. 3 × 7 Hollow Core. Front orientation. Wire Rope. Coated Wire Rope, 3 × 7 Hollow Core Wire Rope.

    3 × 7 Hollow Core

Hang fixtures and tether equipment without scratching hooks and other nearby objects. The plastic coating on this wire rope prevents abrasion while further protecting the inner wires from corrosion and damage. All rope is manufactured in the U.S.
    Warning: Not for overhead lifting.
18-8 Stainless Steel—With solid stainless steel construction, this wire rope has no plating that could wear away. It resists rust, but it won't hold up to the harsh chemicals that 316 stainless steel can.
Nylon Coating—Resists abrasion better than other coatings. It also stands up to mild chemicals, but will swell if exposed to moisture.
Wire Rope Construction—Strand cores are more crush and impact-resistant than hollow cores. However, you can run electrical wiring or fluid conduit through hollow core ropes.
Preformed—With each wire shaped into a spiral before being twisted onto the rope, they maintain their shape when cut. This keeps them from unraveling or poking equipment and users.

    Low-Melting-Point Solder for Low-Temperature Applications

Even as temperatures approach absolute zero, this indium solder remains soft and malleable, allowing it to form an airtight seal between metal and certain non-metal materials. It’s often used in cryogenic applications, including those with liquid nitrogen. This solder has a lower melting point than most solders, so it’s good for sensitive assemblies, such as semiconductors and electronic components. Unlike commonly used tin-based solders, this solder won’t damage gold plating on circuit boards. It’s also a good conductor of heat and electricity. More durable than standard tin-lead solder, this solder is less likely to crack from repeated temperature swings. It’s low outgassing, so it’s good for use in high-vacuum applications.
This indium-based solder can be cold welded, meaning it will bond to itself without heat. You can also use it for step soldering with traditional solders. It does not have a flux core; choose soldering flux to prepare workpieces for this solder.
    Leaded, Flux Required
Image of Product. Front orientation. Solder. Low-Melting-Point Solder for Low-Temperature Applications.
Leaded solder has greater tensile strength and density than other indium-based solders, giving it a stronger hold.

Lead-free solder is safer to use than leaded solder and helps meet industry regulations.
100% Indium—Solder that is 100% indium has better thermal conductivity than solder that contains tin, and will cold weld more easily. However, it has lower tensile and shear strength than solder with tin.
48% Tin—Solder with 48% tin has greater tensile and shear strength than 100% indium solder, but lower thermal and electrical conductivity.

    MIG Welding Wire for Aluminum

Image of Product. Front orientation. MIG Welding Wire.
Pair this wire with a MIG gun to fuse aluminum pieces together.
ER1100—ER1100 wire is for 1100, 3003, and 5005 aluminum. Soft and easy to form, it’s often used to weld thin-gauge aluminum and foil. It also resists chemicals and corrosion. Anodize this wire to create a bright finish.
    ER4043—ER4043 wire is for 43, 356, 3003, 3004, 5052, 6061, and 6063 aluminum.
ER4047—ER4047 wire is for 43, 356, 3003, 3004, 5052, 6061, and 6063 aluminum. Choose ER4047 wire when leak-tight joints are a must, such as when welding very thin aluminum or products that will hold pressurized liquids or gases. It flows more easily when melted than ER4043, so it spreads out and fills in more of the space between two pieces of your weld before hardening. It also shrinks less as it cools, which means it’s less likely to distort your weld. This wire stands up to prolonged high heat. Once hardened, it produces a bright finish with little soot.

    High-Density Low-Melting-Point Solder

This bismuth-tin solder has similar performance properties to lead solder, but is also safe for use in food-processing equipment and copper water pipes. It has a lower melting point than most solders, so it’s good for sensitive assemblies, such as semiconductors and electronic components, as well as for step soldering with traditional solders. However, it’s less thermally conductive than other metals and more brittle than lead. Flux isn’t required, but for easier cleanup use it with no-clean soldering flux. Do not use this solder on drinking water pipes.
    Lead-Free, No Flux Required
Image of Product. Front orientation. Solder. High-Density Low-Melting-Point Solder.
Lead-free solder is safer to use than leaded solder and helps meet industry regulations.
1% Silver—Solder with 1% silver forms stronger bonds than solder without silver. It’s also more malleable and ductile. However, it has a higher melting point, so it takes longer to solder.
