MIG Welding Wire for Aluminum

Pair this wire with an MIG gun to fuse aluminum pieces together.
ER1100 wire is for 1100, 3003, and 5005 aluminum. Soft and easy to form, it’s often used to weld thin-gauge aluminum and foil. It also resists chemicals and corrosion. Anodize this wire to create a bright finish.
ER4043 and ER4047 wire is for 43, 356, 3003, 3004, 5052, 6061, and 6063 aluminum. Choose ER4047 wire when leak-tight joints are a must, such as when welding very thin aluminum or products that will hold pressurized liquids or gases. It flows more easily when melted than ER4043, so it spreads out and fills in more of the space between two pieces of your weld before hardening. It also shrinks less as it cools, which means it’s less likely to distort your weld. This wire stands up to prolonged high heat. Once hardened, it produces a bright finish with little soot.
