    Wire Rope

Image of Product. 7 × 7 Strand Core. Front orientation. Wire Rope. Wire Rope, 7 × 7 Strand Core Wire Rope.

    7 × 7 Strand Core

The most common wire rope for hanging fixtures, tethering equipment, and constructing barriers. It balances flexibility and abrasion resistance —you can bend it if needed, but it has fewer wires that could break over time, so it lasts longer.
    Warning: Not for overhead lifting.
Galvanized Steel—The outer layer resists moisture but can wear down when exposed to salt water and chemicals.
18-8 Stainless Steel—With solid stainless steel construction, this wire rope has no plating that could wear away. It resists rust, but it won't hold up to the harsh chemicals that 316 stainless steel can.
Ultra-Corrosion-Resistant Nickel Copper—Our most corrosion-resistant wire rope. It outlasts 316 stainless steel to withstand harsh washdowns and prolonged exposure to salt water, acids, and caustic cleaning solutions.
Wire Rope Construction—Strand cores are more crush and impact-resistant than hollow cores. However, you can run electrical wiring or fluid conduit through hollow core ropes.
Preformed—With each wire shaped into a spiral before being twisted onto the rope, they maintain their shape when cut. This keeps them from unraveling or poking equipment and users.

    7 × 7 Strand Core

Hang fixtures and tether equipment without scratching hooks and other nearby objects. The plastic coating on this wire rope prevents abrasion while further protecting the inner wires from corrosion and damage. All rope is manufactured in the U.S.
    Warning: Not for overhead lifting.
18-8 Stainless Steel—With solid stainless steel construction, this wire rope has no plating that could wear away. It resists rust, but it won't hold up to the harsh chemicals that 316 stainless steel can.
Galvanized Steel—The outer layer resists moisture but can wear down when exposed to salt water and chemicals.
FEP Coating—Our most chemical-resistant coating stands up to the harshest acids and bases.
Nylon Coating—Resists abrasion better than other coatings. It also stands up to mild chemicals, but will swell if exposed to moisture.
Vinyl Plastic Coating—Ideal for outdoor use and prolonged exposure to the sun, this coating resists damage from UV rays.

    MIG Welding Wire for Aluminum

Image of Product. Front orientation. MIG Welding Wire.
Pair this wire with a MIG gun to fuse aluminum pieces together.
ER1100—ER1100 wire is for 1100, 3003, and 5005 aluminum. Soft and easy to form, it’s often used to weld thin-gauge aluminum and foil. It also resists chemicals and corrosion. Anodize this wire to create a bright finish.
    ER4043—ER4043 wire is for 43, 356, 3003, 3004, 5052, 6061, and 6063 aluminum.
ER4047—ER4047 wire is for 43, 356, 3003, 3004, 5052, 6061, and 6063 aluminum. Choose ER4047 wire when leak-tight joints are a must, such as when welding very thin aluminum or products that will hold pressurized liquids or gases. It flows more easily when melted than ER4043, so it spreads out and fills in more of the space between two pieces of your weld before hardening. It also shrinks less as it cools, which means it’s less likely to distort your weld. This wire stands up to prolonged high heat. Once hardened, it produces a bright finish with little soot.
