    Antislip Backing

    A cork backing grips the surface beneath these rulers, preventing them from sliding around and scratching delicate material. Made of stainless steel, these rulers won't rust when splashed with water or wiped down with degreasers or cleaning solutions. They're hardened to prevent dents and scratches, so you can trust they'll last for years to come. Etched and filled with black ink, their graduations won't rub off like printed graduations can.

    Folding Rulers

    Combine the rigidity of a ruler with the portability of a tape measure. A favorite among carpenters, these rulers stay straight even when extended up to 6 ft., then fold up to the length of a phone to tuck into your tool belt. Bend them at their joints to draw angles and measure corners.

    Rulers with Extension

    For those who prefer the warm look and feel of wood, these rulers are a classic choice. Just be sure to keep them dry, since moisture can cause them to warp and crack. To keep them turning smoothly, their joints are brass plated to guard against wear and rust. Brass caps cover their ends, so they won’t splinter.
    Rulers with Extension—Measure the inside of objects, such as drawers, where a standard folding ruler would either be too long or too short. These rulers have a sliding extension, so you can lengthen the ruler to fit within the object you're measuring.
