Wrap-Around Heaters for Pails and Drums

Also known as band heaters, these wrap around containers to warm contents without direct contact. An adjustable thermostat automatically turns the heater on when the temperature drops below your set temperature and off when it rises above your set temperature. Adjust the set temperature with the dial. The spring-loaded clamp closure allows heaters to expand to fit around slightly larger container diameters. Do not use these heaters with flammable materials or in hazardous areas.
9 1/2" wide heaters maximize surface area contact and heat distribution.
Expansion straps for 9 1/2" wide heaters (not included) allow the heaters to fit around containers 1 1/2" to 11" larger in diameter. Two expansion straps are required for each heater.

Heavy Duty Wrap-Around Heaters for Pails and Drums

For applications requiring high heat over long periods of time, these aluminized steel heaters warm up faster and are more durable than silicone rubber heaters. They wrap around containers to heat contents without direct contact. Heaters should be positioned at the base of the pail or drum. The spring-loaded clamp closure allows heaters to expand to fit around slightly larger container diameters. Heaters are not for use with flammable materials or in hazardous areas.
Heaters with three output settings have a dial to select low, medium, or high watt density.
Nonadjustable thermostat automatically turns the heater on when the temperature drops below the factory-set temperature and off when it rises above the factory-set temperature. The thermostat keeps the heater temperature at or below 165° F. Adjustable thermostats automatically turn the heater on when the temperature drops below your set temperature and off when it rises above your set temperature. Adjust the set temperature with the dial.
Time-cycle controllers constantly cycle on and off to maintain your set temperature with less fluctuation than thermostats. Turn the dial to adjust the ratio of on to off time. Controllers require a thermometer (sold separately) for calibration and temperature monitoring.

Insulating Wrap-Around Heaters for Pails, Drums, and Totes

Also known as heat blankets, these heaters completely surround containers for fast heating and increased heat retention in unheated and drafty areas. Do not use in hazardous areas.
Heaters with an adjustable thermostat automatically turn on when the temperature drops below your set temperature and off when it rises above your set temperature. Adjust the set temperature with the keypad.
Heaters with a nonadjustable thermostat output a consistent heat and turn on and off intermittently to maintain that temperature. Since you can’t change their heat output, there’s no need to monitor them and no risk of tampering, which could damage containers and their contents. Add insulated expansion strips to make heaters for 22 1/2" dia. containers fit drums with a diameter up to 24.2". They’re also needed for these heaters to fit around drums with removable lids.
Add insulated top covers to reduce heat loss and speed up heating. Covers with a through-port access flap give you easy access and further minimize heat loss.

Insulating Wrap-Around Heaters for Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Totes

Extend the shelf life of your diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) while storing it in cold places. Also called heat blankets, these heaters wrap around 330 gal. DEF totes to evenly warm the fluid inside. They’re insulated with foam, so they retain heat even in chilly environments. Designed for DEF totes with a built-in pump, these heaters have an extended frame to fit the pump housing and an opening for the pump equipment. Manually set the temperature with the digital keypad. A thermostat automatically turns these heaters on and off to maintain the set temperature. To prevent overheating, a resettable fuse opens if the temperature rises above the maximum heat output.
Secure these heaters with the included buckles and straps—no need for adhesive. They’re quick to unbuckle and remove once your tote is empty. Made of heavy duty vinyl, these heaters stand up to scuffs, water, and UV rays, so they last even outdoors. The vinyl is NFPA rated for flame retardance; however, you shouldn’t use these heaters near combustible gases or dust. A ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) is built in to their power cord to prevent electrical shocks.
Add an insulated top cover to stop heat from escaping through the top of your tote. The cover has a flap that folds down to insulate the opening for pump equipment.

Insulating Wrap-Around Heaters for Gas Cylinders

Strap these heaters around cylinders to keep gas flowing when the temperature drops. Also known as heat blankets, they heat cylinders from the outside, safely warming liquefied gas enough so that it can vaporize. They’re also lined with acrylic insulation to retain heat. The thermostat is adjustable, and it automatically turns the heater on or off to keep your cylinder at a consistent temperature. They’re sized to fit industry-standard cylinders.
Made with tough Cordura fabric, these heaters resist mold and mildew, and they’re difficult to tear. Both the fabric and the NEMA 4X-rated controller are weather-resistant, so you can install these heaters on outdoor tanks. Check the current temperature on the LCD display and use the keypad to make changes. Do not use these heaters in hazardous areas.

Noncontact Wrap-Around Heaters for Pails and Drums

To prevent hot spots that can damage heat-sensitive materials such as adhesives, sealants, and food, these heaters warm the air around containers without touching them. They provide uniform heat to 80% of the container. An adjustable thermostat automatically turns the heater on when the temperature drops below your set temperature and off when it rises above your set temperature. Adjust the set temperature with the dial. Do not use these heaters with flammable materials or in hazardous areas.
Heaters for 5-gallon containers do not open; set containers in from the top.

Insulating Wrap-Around Heaters for Propane Tanks

Keep gas flowing even when the temperature drops—also known as heat blankets, these heaters wrap around propane tanks to safely warm liquefied gas so it can vaporize. They’re insulated with foam, so they retain heat even in chilly environments. Their built-in thermostat heats up to 90° F, then automatically adjusts the power output to keep your tank consistently warm. Because you can’t adjust the thermostat, there’s no risk of accidentally changing the set temperature. These heaters are sized to fit industry-standard propane tanks. Quickly install and remove them using the buckles or latches.

Keep liquid in your pipes from freezing, maintain a specific viscosity, and prevent condensation in cold areas. Also known as heat blankets, these heaters wrap around your pipe to quickly warm the contents without direct contact. Their foam insulation retains heat, so your pipes will stay warm even in drafty areas. They’re self-regulating, so they automatically adjust their heat output to account for temperature differences along the length of the heater. They output high heat for sections of pipe exposed to the cold, and low heat for a section that’s in a warmer spot. There’s no need for a separate temperature switch or controller; just plug them in and they start heating. Do not use in hazardous areas.

Insulating Wrap-Around Heaters for Hose

Keep the liquid inside your hose from freezing, maintain your liquid’s viscosity, and prevent condensation in chilly environments. Also known as heat blankets, these heaters wrap around your hose to warm the contents quickly without direct contact. They’re insulated with fiberglass, so they retain heat even in unheated and drafty areas. Do not use these heaters near combustible gases or dust.
Heaters with an adjustable thermostat let you fine-tune the heat output, so they’re best if there are surrounding temperature changes or you want the liquid in your line to be at a certain temperature. For instance, if a liquid needs to be at a certain temperature to mix well, you can adjust the heat output on the digital keypad as needed. These heaters automatically turn on or off to keep your hose consistently warm.
Heaters with self-regulating temperature control work well when all you need is freeze protection and to prevent condensation. Just plug them in and they start heating—no fussing with a thermostat or temperature controller. They automatically adjust the heat output to account for temperature differences along the length of the heater. For instance, if a hose runs both indoors and outdoors in the winter, these heaters will output high heat to the section that runs outdoors and less heat to the section that runs indoors.

Battery Heaters

Keep your battery running at full power even when the temperature drops—these heaters warm batteries quickly without overheating them. They fit most automotive and marine batteries. Made from oil- and acid-resistant materials, they stand up to the harsh conditions under the hood of your vehicle. Add a timer switch to automatically turn them on and off at a set time and day.
Band heaters are best if you want to move the heater from vehicle to vehicle or only need to heat your battery every now and then. They heat faster and more evenly than sheet heaters, and they’re simpler to install—just wrap them around your installed battery. However, you have to take them off before running your vehicle, so you can’t leave them on permanently.

Heated Storage Enclosures

Temporarily store and warm items—these enclosures heat the space inside them. They’re often used to keep drums and palletized items from freezing at chilly jobsites and to maintain the viscosity of materials such as resins. A thermostat automatically turns the heater on and off, so they won’t drop below or rise above the set temperature. These enclosures have a vinyl cover that insulates to help keep the space warm. When closed, the cover shields your items from dirt, rain, and snow. Open the cover on either side to access your items. These enclosures collapse for easy storage.
Enclosures with a nonadjustable thermostat keep the temperature between 90° and 110° F.
Enclosures with an adjustable thermostat have a keypad to change your set temperature.
