Choose these locks if you need locks that each open with a different key. All locks have random key numbers.
Zinc-body locks are more corrosion resistant than steel-body locks, but not as strong.
Hardened steel shackles are stronger than steel shackles. Those that are copper-nickel-chrome plated have an added layer of corrosion resistance and strength.
Disc-tumbler key locking mechanisms are harder to pick than basic warded locking mechanisms. Pin-tumbler key locking mechanisms are the most difficult to pick. The more pins a lock has, the harder it is to pick.

Extra-Clearance Resettable Combination Padlocks
Fit the tall shackle of these locks around bulky parts, such as thick chains—it has over 1" of vertical clearance. Made of hardened steel, the shackle is strong enough to withstand bumps and scrapes without denting. With these locks, you can set your own combination and change it at any time. Since they don’t require a key to unlock, they’re useful when multiple people need to access secured equipment. They’re also handy if you need to switch the combination often.
Style C locks have a dual-locking shackle, so they prevent attempts to force them open from prying, shimming, or tapping because both ends of the shackle lock inside the body. Made of zinc, the body is corrosion resistant, but it's not as strong as a steel body.

With more clearance than other locks, they let you thread the shackle or cable of the lock through multiple zipper heads or larger hasps. You can set your own combination and change it at any time.
Standard-shackle locks have a metal body and solid shackle, so they're stronger and hold up better against break-in attempts than the flexible-shackle padlocks.Zinc body locks have a larger shackle clearance.

Cut-Resistant Resettable Combination Padlocks
Shoulders cover most of the shackle, making it difficult to access and cut. The shackle is hardened steel, so the exposed part resists cuts better than plain steel. To prevent attempts to force them open from prying, shimming, or tapping, they are dual dead locking, so both ends of the shackle lock inside the padlock body. Because these locks are more secure than standard padlocks, they’re often used for unattended gates or storage for valuable equipment. They unlock with a five-digit combination, which means they have ten times more combinations than four-digit locks for added security. Set or reset your combination at any time.

Weather-Resistant Extra-Clearance Resettable Combination Padlocks
Fit the extra-long shackle on these padlocks over large hasps or chains to secure equipment outdoors. They’re made from materials that resist corrosion caused by rain and snow. Set your own combination and change it at any time.
Padlocks with a dual-locking shackle prevent attempts to break them open from prying, shimming, or tapping because both ends of the shackle lock inside the body. Zinc-body locks resist corrosion better than hardened-steel-body locks but aren't as strong. They have an epoxy coating as an extra layer of corrosion protection. It also protects against scuffing nearby surfaces.
Hardened steel shackles are the least corrosion resistant but are stronger than stainless steel shackles. Chrome-plated hardened steel shackles have added strength and an extra layer of protection against corrosion.

Key-Controlled Resettable Combination Padlocks
The shackle on these padlocks opens with a control key or the combination, which you can set and change at any time. Control keys (sold separately) are required to reset the combination. Made of hardened steel, the shackle is strong and withstands being dropped, tugged, or cut.
Zinc-body locks are stronger than brass-body locks, but they aren't as corrosion resistant. Both ends of the shackle lock inside the body, so they’re harder to break open from prying, shimming, or tapping. They have a combination dial on the side of the body, which makes them easy to grip and open with one hand.
