Choose an actuator and contact block to make your own switch. Actuators are rated NEMA 3S, 4X and 13 for protection from dust, outdoor environments, corrosion, oil, and washdowns. Use legend plates (not included) to label switches. BACO Controls switches are only compatible with BACO manufactured legend plates.
Padlockable covers prevent unauthorized use.

It takes two hands to activate these switches, minimizing the risk of accidental equipment start up. A complete system requires two switches, one safety relay, and two outlet boxes.
Switches meet OSHA requirements and ANSI standards for machine operator safety. They're rated IP64 for protection from splashing water.
Safety relays control the two switches by sending an output signal when both switches are activated within 0.5 seconds of each other. Self-monitoring circuitry offers additional protection—if any part of the system fails, the entire system shuts down until repaired.
Outlet boxes have a drilled hole to fit the switch.
Switch guards protect switches against damage and accidental activation. Use one guard per switch.

Lock out the on/off or emergency-stop buttons on machinery to prevent accidental or unauthorized startups, such as during maintenance. Install these covers over the buttons and use a padlock to temporarily deny access to them. The locked covers let workers know the equipment is off for safety.
To comply with OSHA 1910.147 lockout requirements for maintaining machinery, you must cut off the electricity at the circuit in addition to disabling the push button.
Removable covers twist on and off a mounted base that fits around a button. The included labels help you identify the buttons.
Hinged covers have a door that you can flip open for access to the button when the lockout is complete. These covers fit 22 mm buttons; snap off the tabs around the mounting hole to fit 30 mm buttons.
Often used with emergency-stop buttons, crossbar covers have a bar that locks a button in the off position.

Keep the surface of buttons, such as those in an elevator, free of bacteria and germs. These covers have a silver ion finish that stops bacteria, mold, mildew, fungi, and other microbes from growing for up to six months. They eliminate the need to clean elevator buttons between uses. Stick them to buttons using their adhesive back; there’s no need for special tools. All are clear, so you can still see what’s written on the buttons.
